I gave in due to a fit of annoyance last night and purchased it. It’s free the first month. $16 after.
I like to listen to unsolved murder videos while I’m falling asleep and I am tired of an ad popping up right when I’m falling asleep. I ignore the first one because it’s short. But 9 times out of 10 the second one is super long (it was a 20 minute ad last night-that’s an episode!).
So far I’m really enjoying no ads and being able to listen to videos with my phone off or on other apps.
