I have been M.I.A. on this site First of all,I would like to thank my friends who have been in touch,concerned for my health and well being;you can't know how much that is appreciated.
While I have in my own mean and prosaic manner replied,I am neither a diarist like Samuel Pepys,nor a confessor like Augustine. Suffice it to say it has been one perfectly dreadful year and though I still agree with Neil Young's line,"I won't retire but I might retread"....:; It has been a time of introspection and lamentations and if Catholics take retreats,I've been RETREATING like Washington's army in New York!!!

If this seems an ironic and irrelevant in what is a very serious story,honestly it is hard to write in a linear manner and I tend to think in lyrics,both songs and poetry naturally ,its almost a congenital shortcoming so try to bear with me. I was going to write more,but besides the fact that a pinched nerve is starting to bother my
