You're right. Yahoos new messenger is more bad as the old one. Skype is more useful as this new version from Yahoo. You don't see when someone is online or camchat isn't possible. I still hope they put this into the new one too!

Yahoo messenger has never been great, but it sounds like they managed to make it worse

Totally agree on the new yahoo. I'm on it trying to stay in contact with friends. It sucks to say the least...

yeah they keep going further and further downhill, but hangouts works well
