Although I've never had reason to refer to myself or anyone else as either of those supposed slurs, I do know what it means. I thought it meant pretty much the same thing as being heterosexual..."straight", which is no more a slur than referring to someone as being homosexual, gay or transgender...to me.

@Piper "Cis" means you identify as the gender you were assigned at birth, as opposed to "trans" meaning you changed to the other gender. Heterosexual/homosexual are completely different. For example, it's possible for a trans woman (man to woman) to be attracted to either men or women.
@LeopoldBloom I think she means they’re the same as in they are all descriptions of groups of people not slurs at all. I think she understands that they describe very different things.
