For any English people around

Would you object to Scotland staying in the EU? Ian Duncan Smith (a leader of the leave campaign) has said England is headed straight into 'dire times' due to the result, and Scotland shouldn't be able just to walk away. I asked on Twitter, but all but two answers were racist, or xenophobic toward Scots. Just wondering if it'll be any better on here

Nicola Sturgeon wants to put it to the vote. If the Scottish people want to be independent, although the majority voted against it before, it's their prerogative. Everyone has something to say on it and Ian Duncan Smith like most of the politicians should shut their mouths about England. We got through the recession not to mention other dark times, we'll get through this.

I would have no problem if Scotland wanted to stay in the EU they should be allowed if they can sort something out
Jane, we do want to stay within the EU...
@irishwonder, I'm hoping that Scotland is heading towards independence, unfortunately, the pensioners remain a problem. In the last bid for an independent Scotland, every age group up until 54+ voted to leave. In the aftermath, pensioners boasted about 'beating the millenials and having their time to shine' it was pretty infuriating to be honest

No, not at all. Will be interesting to see what happens.
@nyloncapes, that's refreshing, especially, as I mentioned, twitter was... unpleasant
