How many characters can you have in a Instagram photo description/caption thing? It seems to be twitter small..

Also - I'm a artist, should I use a business account/tools? Does it effect my account and not allow it to do normal things? Or does it only add something?

I don't think there's a limit in putting a caption on an Instagram post.

Every time I try to add a decent amount more, it says it faied. But if I just reedit the whole thing not adding much more then I usually do, then its fine :/

Oh really? D; sometimes, when Instagram posts a picture, it has a VERY long caption. Maybe around a thousand or 2.

What's a story? I just post photos?
I also just use the Instagram app (in case there's another way)

Sorry, it was supposed to be a "picture". Posting a story is different to an Instagram post(photos).

It could be in text form but mostly just a picture as well. If you update your IG app, you will see it. Just like in Snapchat and FB messenger! :) It's fun tbh c:
