There are so many terrible social media names like Facebook and YouTube...

Yet the one that got changed was Twitter. Twitter was a perfectly fine name which even fit the purpose of the site. Why are people so stupid? 🐦

They are ghastly names, but Twitter was apt, I agree.

It's common for new owners of a business to change its name, and these days fashionable for business names to be silly and meaningless; but Elon Musk is on another planet with his bizarre fetish for the letter 'X'.

(Traditionally "the unknown quantity" in algebra...)

@FreddieUK We can but hope although quite what Mars has done to deserve him, I would not know.

Anyway - he won't be the one to go on a long, long flight to an uninhabitable planet with no guarantee of being able to return home...
