And Twitter couldn't handle the load of the announcement.
It crashed. Repeatedly. Way to go Elon!!

UPDATE

Twitter was repeatedly crashing when 500,000 people tried to join an audio-only stream. Eventually they started a different stream that only 250,000 people joined, and were able to keep it from crashing.

In short, Twitter couldn't deliver the same quality of service that AM radio has been delivering for over 80 years, LOL!!!
