I hate when people say websites are blocking free speech.

Every website has rules and moderators, they have the right to remove a post and ban you from being on their site. You sound like an idiot when you say sites like Twitter or even SW is infringing on your free speech, as if we have complete freedom of speech. Newsflash, we don’t. If you go up to someone and tell them that you want to kill them, you’re getting arrested.

The argument's definitely not there legally, but I feel like we need some way to keep tech oligarchs from just controlling the conversation by force. Obviously stuff like direct threats of violence doesn't vibe but the whole thing about taking down misinformation or whatever is pretty bad since that boils down to shit daddy zuck disagrees with

@BlueVeins My lib right friend was arguing that Twitter always silences right wing commentary. Dude doesn’t even use Twitter like that. But anyways, majority of the time if Twitter removes a post it’s because it’s been reported for misinformation. But leave it to the lib right so jump to conclusions.
