I’ve been on WhatsApp for 3 weeks since daughter left for school in Europe.

Is it normal to get midnight calls from Nigerian scammers?

Got one last night. Didn’t answer. Fake profile pic and Nigerian telephone number

Your number may have been exposed to scammers, through a wahatsapp group you belong to, and they wiggled their way into.

@Northwest I don’t belong to any group though. My only contacts are my two daughters

@Jenny1234 I don’t mean you, I mean your daughters. They may have gotten your contact info from the groups your daughter belongs to. That is unless Facebook, the owner of WhatsApp, has changed its policies and they’re now selling access to contacts.
