It's a weird place.
Used to be a playground for witty riposte to the trite shameless advertising from the movers and shakers of our time and then came the Trump supporters spamming nonsense prior to the election that saw him elected.
Then Musk bought it and muddied the waters still further.

I've never cared about Twitter or whatever it's called now. I don't know how it works (or doesn't).
@CrazyMusicLover It was never a healthy environment for anyone to spend too much time in, but there were once rules against hate speech. Those rules are being lifted by the current owner.

@CorvusBlackthorne No point in trying to fight it. Find a better platform and leave it to peasants.
@CrazyMusicLover I hold out hope that Mr. Musk will sell the platform, having run it into the ground and run out of sponsors to help maintain it.
