Twitter users loose interest in Death Desantis

Not long after he started his pitch on Twitter. Viewership maxed out at 600,000 viewers before falling away to 300,000.
Death picked up around $1 million in campaign funds from viewers which is probably not surprising considering the bulk of middle to low income base supporters funds would have been drained from supporting Cry Baby Trumps ongoing Trump Family fund lawyer fees which have run into the millions over the past 12 months.
Actually, not viewers; listeners. It was audio only.

The problem was Twitter's infrastructure couldn't handle 500,000 simultaneous audio streams. Twitter couldn't deliver the quality of service that AM radio has been delivering for 80+ years!

And don't let anyone tell you "the internet melted." I have no doubt that HBO Max, Netflix, (and of course Amazon) each deliver far more than 500,000 HDTV streams simultaneously on a slow night. The internet didn't melt because of DeSantis' announcement; twitter failed most ignominiously.

@ElwoodBlues That’s what happens when you fire all your engineers. Shit breaks down.
I can't help but notice the SW MAGA crowd doesn't passionately jump in and defend DeSantis the way they passionately jump in and defend Trump.
That tells me a lot right there.

That’s not really a lot of listeners for this bastard who is being projected as so popular.

The average amount of cash donated
was $1.66 cents if everyone off the 600,000 viewers donated at the start of the broadcast.
The people actually cannot meet or debate online

But that's okay!

who is it?

@fakable 😂😂😂😂😂
I still find it hard to believe there's anybody donating to this joker. If you've donated money to Ron DeSantis, you belong on some kind of FBI watchlist.

Laugh but refuse to comment if you are a fascist loving piece of racist crap.
@CestManan Almost every job DeSantis ever held was for a state or federal government. He's served in the military, been a US attorney, a congressman, and now a governor.

None of those jobs pay very well, so until recently his net worth was well under $1 million. But he just published a memoir in March 2023; advances and book sales can rapidly make a politician a millionaire.

@ElwoodBlues It could.

But why would a millionaire be asking for donations?
That is tacky.
@CestManan I know. And so unheard of in America these last seven years.
