Twitch Streamer Assumptions

I am a Twitch streamer and recently a lot of people I have told this ask really superficial questions like "Are you popular?" or "Do you get a lot of viewers?" which from their following remarks means they only care if someone is famous. A lot of society thinks this way because of how many people are of a hive mind for their favorite content creators. Not everyone that streams is famous, and many are just doing it because they love playing video games. I wish people would stop making stupid assumptions like this as if my personality and what I enjoy doesn't matter.

If they're not able to see your # of viewers the answer is yes I am and I'd leave it at that. Sounds like a rude thing to ask.
@Starcrossed Finally a sensible answer. Thank you, ma'am. Yeah, I should probably just say I am popular if they want to go that route right off the bat. It really is rude, and I'm certain many that are just having fun would see that type of remark as demeaning especially if they aren't doing it for fame.
