Users We've Blocked Should Be Automatically Removed as a Blocked User by Us When They Are Removed as a User by SW.

Such former users, in some cases blocked 7+ years ago, waste blocks. 🙂

Yes, it does sound like something that should be part of the removal process by SW. Would help keep the house clean.
