Exactly why I don't buy it. This is data harvesting. Nothing but a way to track your internet usage and patterns. And once your cell number is associated with your whole name there's 400 other things they can find out about you. Think of every place your cell phone is on file..........medical records, IRS, police records......anyplace you shop like Amazon......county records...your home address......the list of information that can be found out about you once your phone number and name are sold to God knows who..........is endless.
People on here are so paranoid about giving out a real first name.............but willingly hand over their name and phone number to who??? So they have the "status" of VIP???? Really??

@MaBalzEsHari to PayPal if you make an account, though that's not necessary if you pay by credit/debit card.

@NerdyPotato So far two of the most secure credit agencies in the U. S have been hacked. if they can be.... PayPal and. SW is easy to hack. it's not if.... it's when
@MaBalzEsHari good thing that PayPal and SW don't get any of your personal information then beyond your credit card details.

@NerdyPotato That's pretty much the biggest thing to lose. From that they can spend
@MaBalzEsHari PayPal has too much to lose by doing that even once. But you can always choose to not shop online at all and buy everything locally.

@NerdyPotato If Paypal is hacked...................and anyone apparently can be if even Experian and Transunion has been.............then they have nothing to say about it for what they lost. Being hacked isn;t Paypals choice. Its already done...........and it hurts you. I was a victim of one of those hacks. Its a pain in the ass to fix.
@MaBalzEsHari true, everything comes with risks. But so does living in a secluded hut in the middle of nowhere without connection to the rest of the world. Some small risks are worth taking, but everyone has to make their own choices about which ones those are.

@MaBalzEsHari anytime you use one anywhere it is going on a file and can be hacked and stolen.

@MethDozer True enough..........my point exactly in the Paypal comment. If someone wants what you have..........they'll find a way to get it........if ur careless.

Like an employee that repairs them ATM's was caught installing chip readers in the machines a few years back. That person got like hundreds of innocent peoples card numbers. Bad thing is some of the ATM's were at banks.
