Setting the feed to English works until you hit "New" and it seems to ignore the saved English preference.

The Recent Activity/Replies area does NOT ignore mute settings.

We've been prioritizing implementing fixing & implementing other things FOR YEARS, while we've been planning to release Games since many years ago. Just because you don't see the importance of Games, doesn't mean they're not as important to have on SW.

The language setting for the feed doesn't affect the Recent Activity area either (the right sidebar, at laptop screen sizes; the "Recent Replies" button on smaller screens) ... just like the the same area ignores mute settings too (which is intentional, per Nuno, yet nevertheless that makes no sense)
The Recent Activity sidebar apparently would benefit from multiple tabs ("Include Muted", "Include All Languages", et al.), or a filter bar, whose settings can be set then saved until changed again manually, just as there is a similar control for the main "Home" and/or "Custom" feed(s)
But instead of working on something like that (fixing existing features), instead they work on entirely new and unrelated features like Games
It's why I deleted all my old posts and stopped making new posts in the SimilarWorlds Suggestions forum.
