It is interesting chatting with SWeeps who have a fictional persona and stick to it.

However, I think it would only be fair to have a label for "alt" accounts. There could be a pretty logo, and it could link to standard information, something like: "this is a fictional persona. Photos are not me. On this account, I am always in character."

Cause otherwise, deliberately or not, having an alt account can turn into catfishing. 🐱🐠

PS - I think it is hilarious that my spellchecker does not recognize the word "catfishing". What internet do[b] you [/b]live on, spellchecker?

That poster blocked me. I hadn’t thought I’d said anything offensive—there [b]are[/b] people here who roleplay, and I don’t think they necessarily mean anything nefarious by it, though admittedly I don’t understand what it [b]is[/b] about.
