why is there no consistency on similar worlds

sometimes i post and i get one or two answers, other times i get no replies at all - why can i not have my posts answered each time i post?

i'm starting to get really annoyed at having no responses and there being no consistency.

I've been getting the same thing on my feed. I won't see posts from people who I follow, but I'll get posts from everyone else who I don't follow. If I post on a person's post I follow, then that person's random 4 posts will show up next time I hit Home.
