Favourites feature

With the new favourites, which don't seem to be documented anywhere how it works, would it be possible to extend this feature? Like an extra category of posts or photos that only some may see instead of merely private, public, and following. It's been asked for a long time to allow extra user control over which individuals or groups of people can see content. Like what G+ used to have where you could choose specific users or make custom groups.

@Mamapolo2016 You already have this feature on facebook and it was even more expanded in G+. The point is not to make people earn the right to view posts but to select certain trusted individuals that can view certain content that they would otherwise not want to post. Like someone with depression may have a close group of support individuals with which they share what is happening in their life or when they're feeling down.

It's not a negative but a positive on other platforms. If something isn't shared with you it's not something that is supposed to be shared with you. Some people are already using the following system to do this restricting who they are friends with for this purpose.
