Auto-Scrolling

I must say, I really don’t like the relatively new function of the page automatically scrolling to the reaction or response I’ve given to a post.
I almost always have to scroll up to the post to put the comment I've given into context or to remember what I've commented about. It was never a problem scrolling down to my highlighted replies, which were never far away. But now, it takes longer to scroll up to the post to see what I’ve responded to, then scroll back down to my response. Does anyone else prefer it the other way?

What’s worse, having to scroll up to see the comment or post you responded to, or going straight to the post, and having to scroll through many, many more comments to find your comment. I prefer the first.
@Carissimi I prefer the way it use do be, by far.

What changed? I don’t see a difference. @PhoenixPhail
@Carissimi It used to be that when I clicked on the bell to show me my notifications, it would take me to the post. Then, when I would scroll down to see the reaction or comment someone would leave on it, I would see their reaction or comment highlighted, which made it easy to find.

Now, when I click on the notification showing me the reaction or comment someone had about it, the page scrolls down to their reaction or comment. I may not even remember what they're commenting about. So I have to scroll up, then back down to see their message in context.
Our own comment with highlighted reply was easier to remember the context, hence better.

Yes but we all know once a useless update is installed it's there for good no matter if it's liked and in this case not liked.we see this happen on how many things here.downvote.floating pics.notification button.consolidating e p groups etc....
@Lilnonames Yeah, I really don't like the Push Notifications button, either. It's redundant. I could just click the box under notifications to do that.
