Frankly they have done a good job so far. It’s a matter of number of suscriptions now.

Trump's own social media platform can't even pay its own bills*, and ostensibly they would have more users than SW**, and they didn't even have to invent anything — the open source software they use was created by other people before Trump was ever president

For anyone but Meta (Facebook), social media is a money pit, and people have unrealistic expectations of it (particularly of tiny niche sites that more resemble a hobby side project)
