Why say a post is "truncated"...

...when it is NOT?

Is this just a way to double clicks, or just a side effect of bad engineering/poor coding?

I always see that, but rarely get posts for which this is true.

It used to work, but it's been broken for a while, now.

It almost feels like a betrayal too, clicking on a post expecting more and there is nothing there.
@SW-User THANK YOU! YES!

@SomeMichGuy Thank you got bc!
@SW-User Well, you stated my feeling quite well--the note is a promise of further content...a promise UNfulfilled.

Like the coders are just playing with us.

It's disrespectful of our time & bandwidth/data charges [if you have them].

I don't know, but agree that it's goofy and annoying. Could be an unintended "glitch" and if so, it would 'nice' if they fixed it.

Yeah it's so annoying too 🙄
@Lilymoon Yes! There *might* be more. Usually...NOT.

Yes, it's extremely annoying!!
@SW-User Agreed! Sometimes, it seems there MIGHT be more...but, no dice, just more bytes transferred for no reason.
