I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

Since they're redoing the site here there's some hope that it could become what it should have been. There needs to be some major effort to attract more than just people who are struggling. I have been there and I completely understand the need for it, but an incredibly important part of a site that thrives is having a strong community. There needs to be a community of intelligent people that are in a good place to lift up the others. Not just through "advice" and whatever, but people that have a deep level of emotional intelligence who will be there for those who need it.

They need to have something that attracts these kinds of people and creates a place for them to communicate and relate to each other as well. I feel like this kind of site would be the perfect platform for that. Please put as much effort into marketing this aspect of the community as you can. Even if it's only for little ol' me.
