Why is this site so damn addicting??

All they need to do, add a few door games and you have yourself a kind of hybrid BBS. SW would be the chat room, take a break playing a few door games, like TLORD, or Hackers, maybe download a few files, yep, the good old days!!

@SW-User Bulletin Board System. It was a thing in the mid to late 80's and into the early 1990's. If you owned a dial-up modem, you could call a phone number on the computer, and connect to a BBS. They had games you could play, files you could download and one or two chat rooms. I miss the good old days :(

@twiigss I see. I don't think I'd trust file downloading from just any site. lol
I understand the concept. Someone could still do that, if they thought it was worth it.

@SW-User Oh it wasn't a site. It was more like, enthusiasts who would own 10 computers, and would put this BBS software on their computer, and would run 10 nodes. Which meant 1 node = 1 person calling. So 10 people could use the BBS at any one time. And they would get super busy all the time. It was a huge thing back in the day.
