I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

Is there a way to turn off notifications period? I want to comment on a lot of posts. I have things to say that I want people to know. But I don't want to know what other people say. I only care about those replying directly to my comment. Is there a way, or will there be a way in the future, to shut off all notifications except for the replies to my posts and comments? Thank you.

when you comment there is a little box you can check off that turns off notifications

Yes, for that specific post. I'd like it so I don't have to do it and remember to do it for every single one. I hate leaving this site and coming back to it with 100+ notifications.
