Please, please, please get rid of the politics thread. It will destroy this site. There is no talking sense or fact to the other side so please, I beg you, get rid of it.

Some of us like discussing politics, so I hope they won’t do that. But several of us have asked if there’s a way to block or mute specific groups or topics. That way people who aren’t interested in politics (or other subjects) can avoid seeing them.
