@Classified both sites are slow! They both use the same IP address. Not good! 😒

You can even advertise the site by copy pasting html-code for a banner. 👀

@Classified all site analysis tools seem to believe that both sites are bad need of optimization. Both html/css and images.

I wouldn't want to be playing a game without such optimization. It would be painfully slow. Especially since both are on the same IP address.

@DeWayfarer Optimizing would decrease a lot of server costs.
I haven't tried that site, so I wouldn't know how fast it is.

@Classified nor have I tried it. I have known about for a year now and know a little of its history. It's much older than this site for one.

@DeWayfarer At least that indicates a bit more interest from them in this site than I thought. I expected that site to be the new one.

@Classified I suspect it's because of the audience. This site is more North American audience, the other international audience. Note all the languages available. No language selections here.

@Classified Internet connections!!! Any site is better of gearing their site because of that! Go anywhere in the world and there's just no internet connections. Here in North America even the most remote places have an Internet connection! I know this because for years I was in a very remote location. No cellphone but sure did have internet!

@Classified not if the audience is international. For a short bit this site had a whole bunch of people posting in foreign languages. Still does if it's mixed language. Yet I suspect this site filters most of that out.

Anyway when a foreign language is shown most of the English speaking people start to complain of not being able to understand what is said. So the site filters it out.

Now think what happens when a post gets filtered out! Nobody responds! So those that speak a foreign language just either don't post or quit the site. Vicious cycle!

English speaking people just don't understand what they are doing when they complain of not understanding. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The reverse is true as well. English speaking people rarely go to other foreign language sites. Why? Because they don't understand the language nor want to translate.

That does make sense. It's a bit sad and I suppose if it is adressed at the front site of the page, less people will join. 🤔

@DeWayfarer FB is more about friends you know irl and maybe celebrities, right? So it shouldn't have the same issue.

If anyone doesn't like your opinion and you use a fictitious username you get reported as a fake profile. Then you are asked for real ID. I refuse to!

@DeWayfarer And righteously so. FB just makes money with your personal records.

@Classified problem there is they don't check or ask about the people who reported you. They are just as fake. FB doesn't check until you get reported! There's probably a third of the site with unused profiles just because of all the fakes on FB.

@DeWayfarer Hehe, haven't investigated in FB. Didn't trust it from the beginning.
