Yes, this is planned as part of "Complete User Profiles" in the development overview.

I never liked it, it made people "needy", they leave you a gift, if you didn't notice they took it as a personal insult that they weren't thanked for a virtual gift. The last few months I ignored mine on purpose most of the time.
Then there was the time, there was bitching, if one person spoke to you on your whiteboard and you didn't respond to another, that was a problem too.

I didn't even realize I had a whiteboard until the day before it closed. It was interesting to go back and see everything but that's something I can live without.

The "Complete User Profiles" from the development list include a section for profile comments (known on EP as a whiteboard).

I never used mine on ep, it was only a bunch of people begging to be added.

Yes. I miss the privacy and intimacy of mine. And mass gedtured,gifts cards and tributes. I want the wb. I do not like how the entire site is like an open forum right now.
