I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

Remove references (in post topics) to the EP, Experience Project, etc.

This is SimilarWorlds, most of us here now don't know what the EP was or ever participated in it.

It's like standing around Twitter screaming, "Man, Yahoo Chats was the bomb!"

Do you not remember Myspace?
@Gangstress I was a member of MySpace!!!!!
shaneomac2 · 41-45, M
@Gangstress I remember that... what ever happened to it?
xixgun · M
@Gangstress Yes, and AOL, and dialup, and rotary phones, and party lines, and when your phone number was something like "Beechwood 4579" and the operator had to connect all calls, and pay phones...

But there is no post topic referencing them, which is all I'm saying. The EP is gone, the post topics should reflect that.

@xixgun Yes, but the reason there'd be a topic regarding EP is that this site is so like it.. and a kind of alternative to it . I searched for EP and found this site.

@shaneomac2 Crapped out, just like YahooChats
shaneomac2 · 41-45, M
@xixgun Yahoo chat lol there's a blast from the past
xixgun · M
@shaneomac2 That's actually irrelevant. Some post topics are phrased in such a way as to imply that this IS the EP, when that no longer exists.
xixgun · M
@shaneomac2 Hey, that's how I found out 911 was occurring. Someone described what happened, I turned on the tv in time to see the second plane hit.
@xixgun Actually... these are Similar Worlds groups...
I Hate AOL
I Remember the Old Internet Dialup Tone
I Want a Rotary Dial Phone
I Have a MySpace Account
@shaneomac2 Facebook won the race
shaneomac2 · 41-45, M
@Pinkstarburst that's for sure. Facebook got popular around late 00's though. Whereas, Myspace around early 00's?
xixgun · M
@Pinkstarburst The MySpace reference should be removed, as the AOL as well.
@xixgun But what if someone still has a myspace account?
xixgun · M
@Pinkstarburst As they don't exist, that would be difficult. Just like you may be a member of the EP, even though the EP is gone.
@xixgun MySpace.com????
xixgun · M
@Pinkstarburst Well, many moons ago when I tried to login, there was a page stating how great we all were but sorry MySpace was no more, blah blah.

Maybe someone else purchased the domain and name. I couldn't tell you. To my knowledge it was kaput.
