I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

What about showing everyone's approximate current time zone, unless they specifically opt out. So for me it would be Europe/Middle East/Africa (known in the "business" community as "EMEA").

It would just make things a bit easier knowing when someone is likely to be asleep or whatever.

Wouldnt that work the same as plugging in your location? I haven't a clue what time it is where you are when you describe your time zone in that way. Maybe have the time itself reflected next to location?
@SW-User Sometimes people can't be bothered to enter their location. I was suggesting doing this automatically, unless they explicitly opted out.

@RemovedUsername845068 I don't have a clue as to what you're talking about but those drugs you're on sure appear to be AMAZING! Will you please share them with me? 😏

SW isn't a telephone. You're not going to wake anyone up by sending an unwanted message. And people shouldn't have to have their real location indicated for the pleasure of potential stalkers.
@21stCenturyFox That's why I was only ever suggesting putting the approximate time zone. Any stalker would struggle to find your exact location with just that to go on.

I'm in London with the red pin - though I'm not suggesting SW supply anything like this detail...

For me it's about to get dark. It's midday with the sun overhead in Rio. And a bad time to talk to Sydney.

Mine is -3 ...I´m 4 hours behind France, I usually ask people their location and search for the time difference...anyway, I leave messages even if they aren´t online...they may be busy or in invisible mode...

I agree, good point.
