I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

There has to be a way where original questions cannot be changed by the asker. In light of what has happened here which I read about this morning it is very scary ... admins you have to sort this as this puts everyone at risk

I think there should be some kind of notification to make people aware of any changes on a question they've answered. It will solve the problem without stopping people from editing their questions.

@JollyLily that makes more sense..
Cheesecake · 61-69, M
@Primnproper but doesn't that then put the onus on respondents to amend or delete their comments?
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Cheesecake well why would that be such a huge task..people need to be able to edit their questions if mistakes are made and not noticed..so you can't just stop editing because of some immature user that has a sick sense of humour.
Cheesecake · 61-69, M
@Primnproper hmmmm maybe. I see your point. Would it be technically possible to put a time delay on questions, say give you five minutes to correct any typos or whatever?
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
@Primnproper hi. No why should then users who replied have to edit their replies ?
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
@Cheesecake exactly
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@TechniCoIorBroccoli hi, but why should we lose the right to edit if we made a mistake and didn't see it because most of us here are responsible enough not to do what he did because it's rude making people the butt of your own joke..
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
@Primnproper I suppose u could repost the question than editing it completely ?
JollyLily · F
Couldn't agree more @Primnproper
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
@Primnproper most yes but not all and banning a user means nothing as they make multiple accounts
TechniCoIorBroccoli · 46-50, F
@Cheesecake that's a better option.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@TechniCoIorBroccoli I agree banning is pointless so they need to come up with something that protects users without taking away their freedom to edit..this particular user has been seen by many now and won't be trusted so this account he has will eventually disappear..
