I realise this may open me up to negativity, but it seems a little ungrateful of a few people on here to me. A small group of developers took it upon themselves to start a new site out of the ashes of ep in a bid to create something as similar to it for all the ep'ers who were facing a future without it. Some of those people had cultivated friendships through their bad experiences and having found people who had also suffered similarly, were able to talk about it for the first time and begin healing, losing ep as an outlet they faced losing a lifeline.
These devs are, I assume, still living their ordinary lives, just like yourselves, they need to work to pay the bills and provide for their families, if they have families they still need to do the school run and spend time with them, just as everyone else. There are no pop-up ads thus far so no advertising revenue, hence the tidyness of the site and the speed of the site being good, but no revenue stream means this is all for FREE in the majority of cases, obviously the subscribers who choose to pay are creating revenue but running a site costs money,so I imagine the day jobs are still needed...
Programming takes time, sure they could just slap code together, but then you'd be bitching about glitches and moaning all the more.
Give them a break guys, please. They didn't have to build a new home for everyone..
You are getting this for FREE, they are giving up THEIR time to give you a shiny new playground to use, and all you need to do is wait..
Its not a difficult thing they've asked of you, and it takes no effort for you to do it, just be patient, I'm sure they are going as fast as they can, but quality takes time to achieve..
