I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds
I wish it was possible to answer on comments in threats. Answering one by one gets really confusing, you don't know any more who sent whom an answer to a comment. At the moment there aren't many comments, but if you want that site to grow, then this has to get solved soon.
Except of that I'm wondering how can I start an own group? By now I only found existing groups and wrote in them. I guess that's the reason why so many people post off topic. If there's a way to create an own group, then it's obviously too complicated by now. It has to be simple.
What keeps sites growing is if things are easy to use and understand. If it gets complicated people are fleeing. It's harder to get a member comig back tha winning a new member. By now similarworlds has unfortunately lost many ex EP members...things have to be solved quickly to not lose more users.
Oh....one thing might be important. You shouldn't make members pay for something, because this would be the end, but you should definitely create a system of points or something like that, so that people start writing to get points.
Take a look at myvidster.com . They have a system of points and a kind of medails that makes people post more and more to win more point. I guess that's what could keep this site growing. I can remember those points were one big reason for me to write a lot on EP before. I just liked getting and collecting those points :-)
