I wonder whether the Snapchat advertising decisions are based on market research...
It's a nice app for chats and stories of people you connected with, but exploring further is hardly possible.
Suggested stories of strangers are mostly click bait to start with, and are then interrupted by ads literally every 10 seconds. Who puts up with that for more than 5 ads, regardless of how interesting or promising the story may seem?
Maybe others are more tolerant of ads, but I find it hard to believe that many people would keep the app open for more than a few minutes this way. If Snapchat only put one ad before the conclusion of a video, I'm pretty sure some people would keep watching for at least half an hour when bored and end up seeing more ads that way than when closing the app out of boredom after two minutes of pretty much watching ads non stop.
