Whats wrong with Snapchat ? [I Snapchat]

My sister has a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown she said Snapchat use to work great but since its last update messages and videos aren't showing up anymore. My sister keeps texting her boyfriend on there he said half the time he don't get her pictures or videos or texts. What's going on ? How can she fix this ?
