Can Snapchat be hacked ? [I Snapchat]

My sister made a new Snapchat she gave her boyfriend her old one she's worried about his account being hacked. She had a guy stalking her on Facebook she reported and blocked him but she's still worried. Is it possible for Snapchat to be hacked ?

It's possible, sure. Though the risk is probably minimal if her boyfriend is using a halfway decent password and isn't reusing it across his various online accounts.

Small time hackers will often rely on leaked password lists or just try a bunch of common passwords. Pretty basic stuff. In the event of a more sophisticated hack (e.g. the recent Twitter hack), there will probably be bigger fish to fry.
