It's never a good idea to respond to a scam text it lets them know the number is working and they sometimes sell your number to other scammers. Best to just report the scam text to your cell phone provider.

Don’t respond to the text or email. It could be a virus on your phone or computer. Just delete.

I would not even answer.

Last week I got " we cannot verify your Netflix account .."..I do not have Netflix

I also had apparently a surplus for my phone...nope ! deleted the text right away

I get emails like that every day. Just ignore. That's what I do.
