what do i do here

there's a woman on my facebook friends list who i was messaging for years, private messaging and i thought it was going somewhere, she is 57 i am 46...but about 9 months ago she seemed to lose interest, it was after i showed her a picture of myself....so now i'm left wondering what to do? i did like her and still do...she uploaded a picture of herself today and she looks really good...but obviously i don't want to pursue somebody who isn't interested in me...she used to leave me birthday wishes, but she didn't this year or last year...so i'm gathering once she saw a picture of me she lost interest.

so what should i do? should i leave it and forget about her, i miss the interactions i was having with this woman...i get lonely and live alone....my only support network in my elderly parents...and plus, i have a personality disorder.

appreciate advice.

I know I'm clearly judging but if she is maintaing her distance based solely on looks, it's really her loss because you have said that you both have been messaging each other since years. She lost a good friend and a potential good partner. People can be harsh when it comes to looks and only few oversee those and i feel given her age, she would be mature enough to not consider it. Again, it is just a single train of thought that she cut you off after seeing your pic.
Alternative is she might be texting some other guy too and hit if off more with him

Whether it has to do with the picture or not, you should just leave it alone. I mean, what's the alternative? To chase after her?

@MsSwan yeah i know its best to leave it...some women play hard to get as they say, so i wasn't sure if it was that, but if i think she was interested she woulda been more forthcoming, and she wasn't...so yeah leave it.
