If you can't make an interesting conversation within the first few messages

@SW-User asking and answering questions is better than just complimenting someone you don't know over and over, or saying hi how are you in 5 different ways, or asking for pics/to send pics.

@BadAssMirah That’s definitely true, but when there’s only one person being inquisitive and the other not giving much back, I start feeling like; is this a conversation or an interview?

@SW-User As long as they answer the questions and the conversation keeps going and its interesting, don't see how its a problem.

@BadAssMirah I think a conversation should be two people taking an interest in each other, no? Like, if you were speaking to someone and they never asked anything about you, and just answered you really basic every time, it’s like - you’re not giving me much to go on here

@SW-User maybe if this was in person and you are trying to get to know each other. But online why tf should I care about a random person right when I meet them. If we've been chatting for awhile then yeah sure. but not at first. and some people enjoy answering questions instead of asking.
