I used to try to talk to whomever sent me a message but most of those conversations were pointless. I believe the point of a site like this is to get to know people through their stories and public interactions first and then maybe become friends.

Not all people like to post that all, some can be introvert, but they should be willing to share when starting interaction through private messages. A profile check is must to get an idea. Blank profiles makes their intentions doubtful.

Most people used to have a biography, pictures, etc but after someone decides to attack you for whatever reason the people on this site and all others started to limit personal information.

I am not really big on pming, so it matters not what their profile is like. I think you can get a better sense of someone when they interact out on the posts.

Yes it happens. It's at its most annoying when a stranger comment on one of my posts and the next thing i see is that person adding me to his/her circle. I never add back.
