Can I ask something?

Well I guess I should apologize to those of you who in a friendly manner sent me a message saying hi etc but I did not answer. The first few days I was here I was responding but many were looking for sexual chat, not that there is anything wrong with that. It's just not why I am here. I updated my message thing but still getting some questionable messages. I think this ruins the possibility of making real friendships or connections on the site.

Is this just how people roll here?
