And why I have them? Apparently I’ve missed messages because some went to this request box instead of my inbox. I never noticed until just now. I only filtered out under 18s, so why is this happening?

I only noticed because someone said they sent me a message, and I knew I didn’t receive one, until I noticed the “message requests” at the top. I had no idea. A couple were from 2-years ago. @Celt43
