Sending a Photo of Myself to a Complete Stranger Online - Not Happening!

I just joined 'Similar Worlds' literally a few minutes ago, and I've already received a request from someone (I don't know the person, he's a complete stranger) for a photo. Er... excuse me? Do I know you? Are we friends? No.
Why do people do this?

@pancakeslam lots of people are motivated by sex - men more than women for sure. I think there is more than a little biology involved, and that type of motivation isn’t always bad. Not always good either, but I never slam someone for coming on to me. I do try to make my preferences known and if they’re not respected, I do what I have to.
