How do people on lorbix feel about alt personas? Like, are you expected to be "the real you" (when you are not actually roleplaying) or are some people in character all the time?

@SW-User Most people deal with it by saying when they are rolling and when they are not. For example when they write between symbols like thise (hello!) people agree that is considered talking as the real you

SW-User
@MeteoraOsterreich I think you mean role-ing not rolling? :D
It sounds like your site has its own culture which is very different from SW. It would be great to have more members here, but otherwise I don't know if this merger is a good idea!

@SW-User Yeah but we talked with a person from Similar Worlds that went to visit. turns out both sites have a lot in common and not all are good things. both sites have similar problems

SW-User
@MeteoraOsterreich Do you have any thoughts about what to do about the problems?
MeteoraOsterreich · 36-40, F
@SW-User Well we havent really reached a solution there either. The popular ideas are just ignore the toxic people. or the ones that post porn constantly and explicit should be reported. No problem if they do it in private

@SW-User everybody believes they are in charaacter the whole time. That's the fun of it
MeteoraOsterreich · 36-40, F
@Bananaxx Or the way around. Nobody is in character until the openly say so

SW-User
@Bananaxx I asked because on here there is a lot of pressure to be "the real you" even though it is an anonymous site and even though some people are definitely on here as characters.
MeteoraOsterreich · 36-40, F
@SW-User Really?? well there is no such pressure in iorbix. I dont think that will be much of a problem to their users
