It's actually scary what's going on with the world

If you use Apple products, you did it to yourself. 😅 Like...there are other options.

But I'm pissed off about them removing the audio jack because that happened to all brands. 😠

Who took away seeds? They are normally sold here every spring. For those who don't want them from seeds, they sell seedlings. Moreover, if you tried to grow fruits from seeds you bought in a supermarket, in many species the plant growing from it would bear terrible fruits or the tree would take many years to actually mature enough to grow fruits. Most of the time you need grafts.
@CrazyMusicLover Leave my iPad out of this 😌😅

She is spot on but I like my seedless watermelon.
I'm confused, at what point were SD cards, VHS units ever free?

So "They" took away our horses and buggies and made us start using automobiles too, right? Life is always changing, it always has been, it always will be, and in every generation there will always be some contingent pining for the days of yore / claiming X was so much better Y days / years ago. It's one of the ultimate clichés.

And it brings us back to that timeless question too: who exactly is "They"?!?! Everyone cites "They" but no one, when pressed, can actually tell you who TF they're talking about (or think they're talking about). The fastest way to tell anyone you are full of 💩 is to immediately start blaming "They" ad nauseum, for every real or perceived grievance imaginable, of real or imagined harm.

People can still repair their own cars, and farmers can still keep unpatented seeds too. No one is stopping anyone from planting or buying heirloom vegetables for example. The only car owner truly forced to take their car back to the dealer are the handful of wealthy Bugatti Veyron hypercar owners in the world, for very unique, specific, and logical reasons (no one forced them to buy the Bugatti either). I'm confused, is this IG rando a red MAGA or blue MAGA?

This is why I can't take any rando social media user seriously as a legit source for anything at all. Most of the world has a social media account now, that doesn't make them any more useful as a reliable source of data however, it only makes the existing proliferation of billions of opinions more omnipresent, nothing more. It only exponentially increases the spread of disinformation, or useless, maybe even incoherent / unsubstantiated, ranting as a substitute for meaningful action and/or vehicle for validation.

People in western nations can also regularly vote for progressive political candidates too. But often they do not, and then for some reason complain about living in regressive policy environments after allowing regressive candidates to consistently win, election cycle after election cycle, as if they are mystified by the outcome of their actions / inaction. Strange.

Yet these IG randos make Zuckerberg richer, and he is an actual political and environmental threat. Ponderous.
There's some printer company that won't let you print without a subscription even though you already have the printer and ink.

There's cars with heating coils in the seats and buttons on the dashboard to control them, both if which are yours as they are part of the car you bought. But guess what? The controls don't work without a subscription.

You know how people are so afraid of socialism because "you'll own nothing and will be happy about it"? I've got some news for them...
