Why are ladies obsessed with Instagram? I don't see what's so useful or fun about it

[big][center][u][i][b][c=A69800]Men and women are obsessed with social media and that goes for teens aswell. They think the internet revolves around them and that everything should be posted or whatever to get "followers" people they do not even know to see what they are doing and get money.

Maybe they wanna show off aswell and more.

All the musicians 🥺 I didn't use to care about it at all but it turns out that's where the party is for many music artists. Right now I must say big thanks to Instagram for finding real new gems through it. But frankly, I still have only a vague idea how exactly the site works. I just visit profiles of people I find interesting.

I feel it’s a lot of people just bragging about their lifestyle. It’s usually an exaggeration of their reality, but optically they can be anyone they want.

It’s probably unhealthy.

I think people like it because they can just post pictures without the burden of wordly self expression.

Most humans are hardwired to seek validation.
Taking a picture/posting it is a cheap easy way to acquire validation.

I don't use it to post but I've added every antique dealer I can find as a way of learning more about antiques.

It’s not fun to post things and then have so many people comment and like?

Instant validation and constant positive reinforcement?

I don't even have it anymore, too boring
