I had a coworker friend like that. She would be friendly and helpful, then suddenly just angry at me and hateful. It was wild to me. Eventually, when I left the job, I dropped contact. She reached out a few times, but since I changed numbers, I didn't give it to her. Some friendships are best remembered.

I just got blocked by someone who told me I was a friend, assured me we were cool, then a few days later blocked me.
I've had people tell me I'm lying when I'm not and lost their respect.
A lot of people I used to care about and enjoy are done with me because I have feelings and opinions, I guess, I don't know.
They don't communicate why they don't like you suddenly.
Not just here but real life too.
I personally just let people go now. And yes, if they block me I block back so I don't have to deal with that rollercoaster.

I know we aren’t close or anything, but I see zero reason not to like or respect you. You are an amazing human being.
So whoever does that is not just losing out on you, but on a huge part of themselves that you reflect back to them. You are a mirror, and it’s not your fault you shine so beautifully. @ScreamingFox

@deathfairy thank you 🖤 part of me looks for the validity in people's opinions of me because I know we all can be reflective. I look for ways to improve, not to be liked, but to be better to others.
I just always feel wrong. Even when I'm good with me.
You are so sweet. I think the world of you too. It's pretty easy to tell when someone truly cares, and you shine to me too.

I've experienced that strange 'blocking game' thing with some people, but only once with someone who insists they are my friend. That individual has done it frequently, when angry or offended by something I've said.
I wouldn't blame anyone for not playing that juvenile game...and finally blocking back, for good.

You made the right call to block them back. That’s not drama, that’s discernment, and your right. 🫂

Well thats just crasy..I'm happy to hear you've ended such actions from continuing. 🫂

The most accurate statement about this site, and maybe society in general, is that people can be weird.
bijouxbroussard · F
@ineedadrink So true.

I cannot imagine why anyone would block you. Youre so intelligent and kind. That person must be insane.
Sounds like someone that is seriously messed up. They may be doing you a favour by blocking you, preventing their plan, whatever it was, from proceeding.

Dang. No one likes being treated like a yo-yo

Over what kind of things was he getting mad? There must be a pattern.

@AnnaStark Nothing I could ever put my finger on. I’d feel some disappointment, but I’d move on.
