Blocked by someone trying to make fun of vegetarians, LOL!!!

Someone asked something along the lines of why vegetarians try to make their food taste like meat. And there were plenty of good replies regarding the relative environmental costs of meat; especially beef. And then, suddenly, I got blocked!!

I wonder if someone who was trying to establish that vegetarians are snowflakes suddenly showed the snowflake side of carnivores, LOL!!!

I am a vegetarian....in my youth I was a major carnivore, but by 30, changed my diet and eating habits and never looked back.
I eat many different vegetables....love different beans....enjoy salmon....love veggie burgers.

@JSul3 Lol. Just so you know. I'm a person that enjoys steak, pork ham bacon. And, especially Venison, Elk, Caribou, Buffalo, and a variety of vegetables and whatnot.

I look away from artificially processed, chemically altered, frankenfoods and have always been told I have a great physique and mental accuity for a guy that wasn't born with rich parents, never spent time in a health club working out, and occasionally imbibes a clean scotch now and again.

I say this because I want people to know that there's more than one way to eat and eating what a person enjoys is probably more important than believing you'll die of egg overconsumption or ruin yourself by chomping on less things in the form of animal proteins.

I work hard everyday. Even in my retirement. Not anywhere near hard as I did in my prime and if not for meats the work I did before I retired could not have been carried out by me.

The next time, if one comes along, I need to lift a 2-300 lb. Item, I'll probably find it taxing for sure. But I'll make up for it and avoid a hernia by eating an extra steak or two.

(Since we're now announcing our favorite nutritional victuals)

@SteelHands Bravo.
I am not a fan of processed foods...high fructose corn syrup...animals full of hormones.

For a top industrialized country, the US has a very unhealthy population, with terrible eating habits, high prescription drug use and pathetic exercise habits.

The worst thing that ever happened was the day MacDonald's fast food became a diet staple.

Unhealthy? I don't feel unhealthy. For a guy with almost 70 years under his belt. [image]@JSul3

Exercise? Oh. Yeah. This red thing here is my fitness trainer.

Ha! I'm not rich enough to buy hamburger for 15.00 a pound precooked.

My favorites are blown away large game and hook snagged freshwater marine life.

If you need any data with that, sorry. Not providing any data here. Lol
