If it's any consolation, getting blocked is probably a universal experience here. You don't have to do anything wrong for it to happen.

I answered a question earlier and found someone I don't even recall seeing before, had me blocked. His comment made him seem like a complete douche bag anyway. A big shout out to what's his name for doing me a favor.
