Whoops! I Do Wish People Were Not So Quick To Block, But I Feel I Owe An Apology

I mistakenly thought the "to myself" part of a response to a post, would make it clear that I was not meaning to insult the OP. I am sorry, that I offended you (her).

You and her may just have mutual friends and your heartfelt message will be relayed.

I missed what happened, but I cannot imagine anyone taking you the wrong way unless they completely missed your intent and were having a really bad day.

This is why I never block over a single comment or action I perceive as being rude or sarcastic without some sort of real history of malice behind it. I personally try my best to ignore people that try and get negative attention from me.

If I may say, I think you are extraordinarily kind to publicly apologize to someone here. There are not enough people like you on social media formats.

@Peapod Fact is, that I can see how see how my comment came off as insulting. That is why my impulse to post this won over my hesitation to.

Thank you, Peas.

@Piper That sucks. I too would be really bothered if my words hurt someone unintentionally. I think this is why I edit myself so much in the first few seconds I post something.

We are all human though.

Hopefully you get a chance to talk to her in private, should she unblock.
